Odd Grenland wrote a new chapter in club history when they took a 3–0 lead after 22 minutes against Borussia Dortmund in the Europa League playoff. It was a night we will never forget. Skagerak Arena was packed to the rafters, and the atmosphere was electric as Jone Samuelsen, Fredrik Nordkvelle, and Espen Ruud sent us up in an incredible 3–0 lead after 22 minutes. The opponent was none other than Borussia Dortmund, one of Germany's biggest clubs. That we could take a 3–0 lead after just 22 minutes against a world-class team put Skien on the football map and gave the supporters memories for life. Dortmund eventually showed themselves strong enough to turn the game around and win 4–3. But for us Odders, the memories are about the first 22 minutes, the jubilation on the tribune, and the certainty that we – even in the face of the biggest – could create magical moments. Ten years have passed, but the feeling from the August evening in 2015 still lives strongly among all Odd Grenland supporters. We still remember the magical night when Odd Grenland took a 3–0 lead against Borussia Dortmund in the Europa League playoff. It was a night that put Skien on the football map and gave the supporters memories for life. Odd Grenland has always been a team willing to take risks and play an offensive football. It has been part of the team's identity since the start, and it's something that has made them one of the most beloved teams in Norway.
