Odd Grenland changes its name to Odds Ballklubb. The club has invited to a press conference at Gaustatoppen in Telemark to present its new name, logo, and future plans. Director Einar Håndlykken says that the club will stand out as the team for all of Telemark. The background for the name change is that the club will embrace all of Telemark, and not just Grenland. Jacob Lund has long believed that the team should change its name to Odd Telemark. Håndlykken says that it was completely right at the time to call us ODD Grenland, but with the stronger focus we have now on being a club for all of Telemark, we feel it is right to remove Grenland from our name. The club has also set goals to compete for European league participation every year. Odd has always had the official name Odds Ballklubb, but has been known as Odd Grenland. Now, Grenland will be removed from the name in everyday use, and the club will be called Odd instead. Einar Håndlykken is the director of Odd and has been involved in making this decision. He says that the club is ready to face the future with its new name and logo. The club also has plans to expand its presence in Telemark and become a more integrated part of the community. This is an exciting time for Odd and all its supporters. The club is ready to take on new challenges and win new victories. With its new name and logo, Odd is ready to face the future with optimism and courage
